Vienna New Year’s Eve Trail, one of the largest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Europe, is the perfect place to look back on the past year, toast to the future and to welcome the new year in a boisterous manner together.

Eight locations – Rathausplatz, Freyung, Am Hof, Graben, Stephansplatz, Kärntner Straße, Neuer Markt and Winter Market at Riesenradplatz in Prater – are part of the spectacle this year and offer a diverse music and entertainment program that combines numerous genres: pop and rock can be found as well as blues, funk and soul or groove.

49th International Vienna New Year's Eve Run
On December 31, 2025, the LCC Vienna invites you to the 49th International Vienna New Year's Eve Run, celebrated as one of Europe's most scenic year-end races.
The 5.35-kilometer route guides participants along the historic Ringstraße, showcasing landmarks like the State Opera, Parliament, Hofburg, Burgtheater.
This annual event unites runners of all ages and skill levels, from elite athletes to casual joggers. Many participants embrace the festive spirit by donning creative costumes, and walkers are warmly welcomed.
The race begins at 11:00 a.m., allowing ample time afterward to prepare for evening New Year's Eve festivities. (shauvorbei.at)

Lough Gill ‘Cutback’ – New England IPA
This month’s Brew of the Month is Lough Gill ‘Cutback’ New England IPA. A light-bodied, pale-coloured New England IPA brewed for easy drinking and long sessions
This hazy NEIPA is crafted to deliver a burst of juicy, tropical hop character with miniml bitterness, making it the ideal choice for maximum flavor enjoyment without the heavy lift.
