Who is favorite?

Brazil, led by Neymar, Vinicius Jr., and featuring a star-studded supporting cast,

Brazil are the favorite to win the 2022 World Cup and extend their record of five tournament victories.

Brazil's status as the favorite is boosted by a relatively weak Group G.

The Brazilians are in the same group as Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon and would face the No. 2 team from Group H if it wins the group in the first knockout round. France, meanwhile, has Australia, Denmark and Tunisia in its group
